HigherEdAdvisors: Advisory Services Available to Institutions
Technology Assessment & Procurement Services
A suite of Advisory services has been packaged to assist clients strengthen their infrastructure through educated and strategic decision making.
Six Advisory services are offered individually or in combination to define a blueprint to success. Services include:
- Business Process Audit Review—HigherEdAdvisors will audit your business processes to identify and recommend business practice efficiencies.
- Procurement Services—HigherEdAdvisors will develop your RFP/RFI for software and/or consulting services including assisting in the evaluation of responses. (Option: using Advantiv's DecisionDirector™ tool option for requirements development and RFP generation)
- Vendor Coordination Services—HigherEdAdvisors will coordinate procurement interaction with vendors in behalf of the institution to ensure an "arms length" position for the institution to minimize conflicts of interest and control access to the institution's staff.
- Vendor Contract Negotiations Services—HigherEdAdvisors will assist in developing the contract negotiation strategy including terms and conditions that minimize institutional risk and will directly negotiate software and consulting contracts as Advocates for our clients.
- Quality Assurance Services—HigherEdAdvisors will audit contractual performance against project plans to ensure that commitments are being met.
- Project Management Services—HigherEdAdvisors will serve as an institution's project manager if requested during all or a portion of the life cycle of an implementation.
Advisory/advocacy services can be provided at an affordable hourly rate, on retainer, value based or in a fixed-price package, whichever works best for our client.
